I love Emotional Tapping. Why? Because I’m a different person since discovering it.
Before I encountered Emotional Freedom Tapping and fell in love with it, here’s how dismal my life was:
– I was too fat for all my clothes
– constantly fatigued
– ate nonstop every evening after dinner
– hated the discomfort of being around other people
– hated myself
– going nowhere professionally
– anxious all the time
– felt hopeless about my life
– struggled with everything
– problems with procrastination
– Always felt negative emotions
Then a friend told me about EFT. When I heard what you do, I said no way. It looked too silly. How could it possibly work? And felt totally silly.
How could it work? I gave up on it.
Then another time I saw it again. This time I was more open minded. I started reading and studying about it. I did the tapping on my stuff.
The best thing I did was Gary Craig’s Personal Peace Procedure. It’s one of the best tapping therapy techniques around. What you do is:
– Make a list of all the crummy memories from your life. This list will be over 100, or you’re not trying.
– Do EFT tapping on everything you wrote.
That’s what you do. Sound simple? Yep, it is. But it’s a heroic task.
I started in on my list. I would tap on on a couple of events each morning before getting out of bed . And in the afternoon I’d tap when taking a walk. And I’d go for a walk in the afternoon and tap on a couple more events then.
After about two weeks, the darnedest thing happened. I lost my carb cravings. I felt calm for the first time in years.
More improvements came after that. My creativity soared. I started making more money. My relationships all made changes for the better. And it continues.
